Maritime environments are unforgiving. Deck systems must withstand heavy foot traffic, equipment loads, vibration, shock and exposure to the elements, all without compromising performance or safety.

Our NanoDeck energy tile has just completed a series of intense mechanical and environmental tests, including high-impact and extreme compression scenarios designed to replicate real-world conditions.

Engineers Joe Jaquest & Sam Mills

Joe and Sam, pushing both the glass surface and the structural core well beyond normal operating limits to assess:

– Compressive strength under concentrated and point-load conditions

– Repeated high-energy impact resistance

– Long-term stability and structural integrity

– Dynamic load performance

– Service life projections under normal and extreme marine conditions

– Life-cycle performance and energy yield consistency

The data reinforces our confidence that NanoDeck meets the structural and performance requirements of the marine sector.
