A new chapter for the team as we move from innovation to scalable deployment.

Grafmarine is now MarineSolar Energy Solutions – a change that reflects our new market positioning and long-term vision.

Our ambition is to become a global leader in clean energy for maritime applications, enabling the industry to transition towards a more sustainable future without compromising performance or profitability, and the rebrand marks an important step in this journey.

Over the past few years, we’ve been focused on developing innovative technology to support the decarbonisation of shipping. We are now entering a new phase by moving beyond development and into the delivery of practical, commercially viable energy solutions at scale.

At the core of this is NanoDeck™, the world’s most advanced modular solar energy platform designed specifically for marine environments. It remains central to our offering, enabling vessels to generate renewable energy at sea while reducing fuel consumption and emissions.

Why we’ve rebranded

The maritime sector is under increasing pressure to reduce emissions while maintaining performance and efficiency. At the same time, the industry needs solutions that are not only sustainable, but cost-effective and deployable at scale.

Our rebrand reflects this shift. MarineSolar Energy Solutions better represents who we are today – an energy company focused on delivering real-world impact. With our new name and logo comes a new energy, a clearer direction, and a renewed sense of purpose within the business.

This transition follows a period of significant growth and investment. In late 2025, we strengthened our leadership team with the appointment of experienced leaders across operations, finance, supply chain and strategic governance, ensuring we have the expertise in place to support long-term growth.

This was followed by the addition of several team members at the start of 2026 to strengthen our engineering and commercial capabilities. We’ve also grown our presence across key maritime hubs, with offices in Manchester, Rotterdam, and Bilbao, to support our international customers and deployment pipeline.

What this means for our customers

While our name has changed, our commitment remains the same.

We will continue to deliver reliable, effective solutions that help shipowners, operators, and charterers navigate the transition to cleaner energy, without compromising performance or commercial viability.

As MarineSolar Energy Solutions, our focus is clear: delivering scalable, practical clean energy solutions that support a more sustainable future for shipping.
